Asbestos Analysis
Regis has completed comprehensive testing for asbestos using Dr. Eric J. Chatfield, Dr. Fredrick Wicks, the R.J. Lee Group and John Addison, all world-renowned experts in the identification and analysis of asbestos and asbestiform minerals. The result of their combined work is that there is no asbestos or asbestiform minerals detected with Cavendish vermiculite.
Ongoing testing will continue both in the mine and mill on regularly scheduled intervals. The testing will include both bulk asbestos testing and air testing with in the mill to protect all employees.
